This 3-part event is intended for those who are drawn to the wisdom of the enneagram and are currently exploring the many facets of the symbol’s spaces and movements. Observing the nine types in this kind of setting is a great way to learn more about how each of the nine fixations come alive in us!

We recommend attendees have:

• A basic understanding of the enneagram
• A willingness to explore and have some fun

Facilitators:  Dale Bially and Carole Dufault have been working with the Enneagram symbol in their professional and personal lives under the guidance of Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh for almost 20 years.

Panelists:  The nine people sitting on these panels have been working with the enneagram for a combined total of 175 years.  All panelists have deepened their understanding of the enneagram under the guidance of David Walsh and Carol Ann Gotch.

Cost: $40 to attend one panel or $100 for all three!

George Gurdjieff, who brought the enneagram to the West, created a set of exercises incorporating the laws reflected in the enneagram. The Gurdjieff Movements are a practice of attention with gestures and choreography set to music. We move in patterns that remain unconscious. The Movements make us aware of our automatic ways of thinking, feeling, and sensing.

Fear acts like an alarm with the sensitivity of deer. It ushers us into the unknown, and is a gateway to the world of spirit, the ultimate in unknowns. Fear is natural for us and learning ways to process and move through it without the crippling effects of anxiety or worry are keys to this workshop.

The day will be comprised of practical suggestions and exercises for working with our fears.

The effort needed to learn the patterns of the Movements and sustain the practice brings us face to face with our habits of thinking, feeling, and sensing. The work of awakening to our patterns of behaviour, thought and feeling will be the focus of the Saturday morning Work group: to approach these patterns of thought, behaviour, feeling and belief with curiosity and compassion. Knowledge of the patterns of personality will be explored as a way of understanding ourselves as a “machine”. This understanding will be supported by the practice of the Movements as well as inner exercises as active meditation.

Cost: $12 for each Thursday evening
$25 for Saturday mornings
$30 for Saturday afternoons
OR $50 for all day Saturday
